HOOLIGAN UK.COM : DEVELOPMENT
The e-commerce portion for Hooligan UK was particularly important, since the store was purely online. To fulfill Hooligan UK's e-commerce requirements, we had to provide a system that was flexible and easy to use, both for the customer shopping the site and the manager administrating the site. We also had the additional challenge of creating a system capable of providing localized service to Hooligan UK's international customers.
To achieve these goals, we provided Hooligan UK with an e-commerce solution that could answer their needs and the needs of their customers, both domestic and international. For the customers, we created a shopping interface that allowed for easy searching and navigation through the product catalog, with expanded product information available at the click of a button. Shoppers could easily find the product they wanted, order it in just the right size and color, and finish their order through a secure checkout process. For the site manager, we provided a flexible catalog and order management system, capable of handling Hooligan UK's expanding product line and growing customer base. With online real-time credit card processing, order processing was streamlined, allowing for a faster turnaround on order fulfillment.
The need to handle international customers was also addressed. For Hooligan UK, we developed a flexible currency system that could convert the store's prices from American dollars to a variety of foreign currencies, including the British Pound and the Euro. In addition, a flexible shipping system was provided that allowed the store manager to assign custom shipping rates to any country on the globe. From browsing the catalog to receiving their orders, international customers were covered throughout the shopping process.
