The nature of this application required a rather involved deployment. From wireless power carts at check-in, to Point-of-Sale registers at check-out, the right combination of software and hardware made this project a success.

The Parking Plaza's main application server is running RedHat Linux, with an Apache Tomcat Web Application Server, and MySql Database. The client/server architecture means the clients require minimal resources. A custom Linux kernel was developed specifically for the thin clients, which are compact and completely fanless. The terminals at the check-in bay are mounted in battery powered carts that allow the attendants to roll out to the customers. Each shuttle bus is equipped with a computer and wireless bridge to communicate with the home base.
